How to read the Stats leaderboards

4 min read · Updated 21 August 2026

Stats is TackleZone’s volume board: goals, assists, key passes, dribbles, shots, tackles, saves, rating, and more. Unlike Rankings, it does not apply a composite position formula — it sorts by the metric you choose.

Filter by season and league, then pick a “Ranked by” metric. The highlighted column is the sort key. Per 90 rescales counting stats by minutes so heavy minutes earners and rotation players can be compared more fairly — rates like rating stay as-is.

Always check the minutes floor in the sidebar. A player with fewer than the minimum simply will not appear, which keeps one-match fireworks off the top of a season table.

Volume leaders are a starting point, not a finished argument. Pair Stats with Rankings when you care about role-weighted value, or Compare when you want a head-to-head story between two names.

Historical seasons back to 2017/18 are stored for Top 5 leagues so you can revisit completed campaigns without treating every year as the same sample size.
