Privacy Policy
TackleZone website · Operated by TackleZone Studios · Last updated 16 August 2026
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the TackleZone website at tacklezone.app (and related pages served from this domain). It does not cover the TackleZone Android mobile application, which has its own privacy policy and data practices.
TackleZone Studios ("we", "us", "our") operates this website. By using this website, you agree to the collection and use of information as described below.
2. Summary
We designed this website to work without creating an account. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or payment details to browse live scores, rankings, stats, or player pages. We collect very little information about you directly.
3. Information stored on your device
When you use the website, a small amount of data may be stored locally in your browser:
- Theme preference — whether you chose light or dark mode, saved in your browser's local storage under the key
tz-theme. This stays on your device and is not sent to our servers.
You can clear this at any time through your browser settings. The site will work without it; your theme choice may reset.
4. Information processed when you visit
Like most websites, when you load a page our hosting and infrastructure providers may automatically record technical data such as:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages visited, date and time of access
- Referring URL (if any)
We use this information to deliver the site, maintain security, diagnose errors, and understand general traffic patterns. We do not use it to build a personal profile of you for advertising on this website.
5. Football data and third-party services
Match fixtures, live scores, standings, and player statistics shown on this website are fetched from third-party sports data providers, principally API-Football / API-Sports. When our servers request that data, your IP address may be visible to those providers or to our proxy services as part of normal internet routing. We do not send your name or account details with those requests, because we do not collect them.
Player and ranking data may also be read from Google Firebase / Firestore on our backend. This is read-only public football data maintained by TackleZone Studios. You do not submit personal information to Firestore through this website.
Each third-party provider has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review their terms if you have concerns about how they handle technical request data.
6. Cookies
We use privacy-friendly page analytics through Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic (such as page views and visitor counts). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers such as Google Analytics. The only persistent client-side storage we use is the theme preference in local storage, as described above. Essential session or security cookies may be set by our hosting provider to operate the service safely.
7. What we do not do
- We do not require registration or login on the website.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not send marketing emails based on website browsing.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
8. Data retention
Theme preference remains on your device until you clear it. Server logs and cached football data are retained only as long as needed for operations, security, and performance, after which they are deleted or anonymised in line with our hosting provider's practices.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable data protection law, such as the right to access, correct, or erase personal data we hold about you, and the right to raise a grievance with a supervisory authority.
Because we collect minimal personal data through this website, there may be little or nothing for us to retrieve. If you believe we hold information about you or wish to exercise your rights, contact us using the details below.
10. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the website and server-side systems. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the website after changes means you accept the updated policy.
