Corrections to football data
Fixtures, scores, line-ups and player statistics come from third-party providers, principally API-Football. We do not edit the underlying data by hand, because a site that quietly overwrites its own source cannot be checked by anyone. What we can do is trace a wrong number to where it entered, correct it at our end if the error is ours, and say so on the page if it is not.
If something looks wrong, send the page URL and what you expected to see. Statistics are frequently revised by the provider days after a match, so a figure that changed overnight is usually a correction upstream rather than a mistake here.
Our own ratings
TackleZone Attacker, Midfielder, Defender and Goalkeeper Scores are ours, not the data provider’s. The weightings behind each one are published on the methodology pages so a disagreement can be about the formula rather than about the number. If you think a weighting is wrong, tell us which component and why — that is a more useful message than a score being too low, and we have changed weightings on that basis before.
Photos, crests, and copyright
Player photographs and club crests are shown with match and ranking data supplied by API-Football. If you believe a photo, crest, or passage of text on a specific page should be removed, email tacklezoneapp@gmail.com with the page URL, what should come down, and how you are connected to the material. We will look at it and reply.
Who we are
TackleZone is built and run by TackleZone Studios, a small independent team. There is no newsroom behind it and no wire service: the written analysis is produced from the same match data shown on the page, and the pages that are generated say so. We are not affiliated with any club, league or governing body, and we do not accept payment for coverage or for a player’s placement on any ranking.
