In 2024/25, Y. Fofana was used in rotation for Reims in the Ligue 1: 14 appearances and 638 minutes, averaging 46 minutes per outing. Per 90 minutes that is 1.0 key passes per 90, 0.1 assists per 90 and 2.8 ball recoveries per 90 — the rate profile behind Fofana's totals.

Set against Fofana's own record, 2024/25 reads differently: it is also the heaviest workload we have recorded for him, 638 minutes against a previous high of 28. Discipline is part of the picture for Fofana: 4 bookings in 14 appearances, one every 3.5 games.

Our records cover 2 seasons of Fofana's career, 2023/24 to 2024/25, all of it at Reims. In that time he has played 20 matches across 2 competitions, 693 minutes in all. Treat these rates carefully. At 638 minutes — roughly 7 full matches — Fofana is 262 short of our 900-minute qualifying floor, so he does not appear on the ranking boards: on a sample this size two good afternoons move a per-90 number further than a month of steady form.

How these scores are built, and the minutes and rating floors a player must clear to appear on our boards, are set out in our methodology.
