Mijnans's 2025/26 season, read from the numbers
In 2025/26, S. Mijnans was a regular for AZ Alkmaar in the Eredivisie: 30 appearances and 2350 minutes, averaging 78 minutes per outing. Per 90 minutes that is 2.1 key passes per 90, 0.2 assists per 90 and 2.0 ball recoveries per 90 — the rate profile behind Mijnans's totals.
Mijnans played 1,103 passes at 82% accuracy — 42.2 per 90, which is the volume that decides whether a side builds through him or around him. Carrying the ball, Mijnans attempted 42 dribbles and completed 45% — 1.6 attempts per 90.
Set against Mijnans's own record, 2025/26 reads differently: his 21 goals beats anything in the 7 earlier seasons we hold for him (best before: 10); it is also the heaviest workload we have recorded for him, 4039 minutes against a previous high of 3339.
How these scores are built, and the minutes and rating floors a player must clear to appear on our boards, are set out in our methodology.
