Daal's 2026/27 season, read from the numbers

In 2026/27, R. Daal was used in rotation for AZ Alkmaar in the Eredivisie: 7 appearances and 582 minutes, averaging 83 minutes per outing. Per 90 minutes that is 2.9 key passes per 90, 0.0 assists per 90 and 1.2 ball recoveries per 90 — the rate profile behind Daal's totals.

Daal played 292 passes at 86% accuracy — 45.2 per 90, which is the volume that decides whether a side builds through him or around him. Carrying the ball, Daal attempted 35 dribbles and completed 66% — 5.4 attempts per 90.

Set against Daal's own record, 2026/27 reads differently: he has managed 16 in a season before, so 4 is well short of his own mark; he is playing far less than he once did — 672 minutes against 2888 at his peak; his average match rating has risen from 7.21 to 7.88 since 2025/26.

How these scores are built, and the minutes and rating floors a player must clear to appear on our boards, are set out in our methodology.
