Cherki's 2026/27 season, read from the numbers

In 2026/27, R. Cherki was used in rotation for Manchester City in the Premier League: 5 appearances and 305 minutes, averaging 61 minutes per outing. His standout number is key passes — 12, 23rd of 978 midfielders and inside the top 2%.

Per 90 minutes that is 3.5 key passes per 90, 0.6 assists per 90 and 0.3 ball recoveries per 90 — the rate profile behind Cherki's totals. The profile is lopsided rather than complete: measured against midfielders, Cherki sits in the top 1% for assists but only the top 47% for shot conversion.
