N. Saliba

Saliba's 2026/27 season, read from the numbers

In 2026/27, N. Saliba saw limited action for Villarreal in the La Liga: 4 appearances and 296 minutes, averaging 74 minutes per outing. Per 90 minutes that is 0.3 key passes per 90, 0.0 assists per 90 and 5.2 ball recoveries per 90 — the rate profile behind Saliba's totals.

Set against Saliba's own record, 2026/27 reads differently: he is playing far less than he once did — 851 minutes against 4228 at his peak; his average match rating has risen from 6.68 to 7.04 since 2025/26. Treat these rates carefully. At 296 minutes — roughly 3 full matches — Saliba is 604 short of our 900-minute qualifying floor, so he does not appear on the ranking boards: on a sample this size two good afternoons move a per-90 number further than a month of steady form.

How these scores are built, and the minutes and rating floors a player must clear to appear on our boards, are set out in our methodology.
