H. Herrera

Herrera's 2021/22 season, read from the numbers

In 2021/22, H. Herrera was used in rotation for Atletico Madrid in the La Liga: 21 appearances and 851 minutes, averaging 41 minutes per outing. Per 90 minutes that is 1.1 key passes per 90 and 3.0 ball recoveries per 90 — the rate profile behind Herrera's totals.

Discipline is part of the picture for Herrera: 4 bookings in 21 appearances, one every 5.3 games. Our records cover 3 seasons of Herrera's career, 2019/20 to 2021/22, all of it at Atletico Madrid. In that time he has played 76 matches across 4 competitions, 3,658 minutes in all.

Away from his club, Herrera has 6 appearances for Mexico on our records — across CONCACAF Gold Cup. Treat these rates carefully. At 851 minutes — roughly 9 full matches — Herrera is 49 short of our 900-minute qualifying floor, so he does not appear on the ranking boards: on a sample this size two good afternoons move a per-90 number further than a month of steady form.

How these scores are built, and the minutes and rating floors a player must clear to appear on our boards, are set out in our methodology.
