Álex Sala

Sala's 2025/26 season, read from the numbers

In 2025/26, Álex Sala saw limited action for Lecce in the Serie A: 9 appearances and 182 minutes, averaging 20 minutes per outing. The number that flatters him most is match rating — 851st of 978 midfielders and inside the top 87%.

Per 90 minutes that is 1.5 key passes per 90, 0.5 assists per 90 and 3.5 ball recoveries per 90 — the rate profile behind Sala's totals. The profile is lopsided rather than complete: measured against midfielders, Sala sits in the top 8% for shot conversion but only the top 80% for goalscoring.

Our records cover 2 seasons of Sala's career, 2022/23 to 2025/26, across 3 clubs — Sabadell, Lecce, Cordoba. In that time he has played 34 matches across 3 competitions, 2,004 minutes in all. This is barely a sample: 182 minutes is about 2 full matches, and 718 short of the 900-minute floor our boards require. Every rate above should be read as a hint rather than a finding.

How these scores are built, and the minutes and rating floors a player must clear to appear on our boards, are set out in our methodology.
