Owusu's 2026/27 season, read from the numbers

In 2026/27, P. Owusu was a regular for CF Montreal in the Major League Soccer: 25 appearances and 2069 minutes, averaging 83 minutes per outing. Per 90 minutes that is 0.7 goals per 90, 2.5 shots per 90 and 55% of his shots on target — the rate profile behind Owusu's totals.

Set against Owusu's own record, 2026/27 reads differently: his 15 goals beats anything in the 7 earlier seasons we hold for him (best before: 14); he is playing far less than he once did — 2069 minutes against 3171 at his peak; his average match rating has risen from 6.81 to 7.10 since 2025/26. Discipline is part of the picture for Owusu: 6 bookings in 25 appearances, one every 4.2 games.
