Enric Gallego

Gallego's 2020/21 season, read from the numbers

In 2020/21, Enric Gallego was used in rotation for Osasuna in the La Liga: 22 appearances and 800 minutes, averaging 36 minutes per outing. Per 90 minutes that is 0.0 goals per 90, 1.4 shots per 90 and 33% of his shots on target — the rate profile behind Gallego's totals.

Our records cover 4 seasons of Gallego's career, 2018/19 to 2021/22, across 5 clubs — Huesca, Extremadura, Getafe, Osasuna and others. In that time he has played 126 matches across 4 competitions, 8,441 minutes in all. His best return was 20 goals in 2018/19, 19 more than he has managed this time.

He has reached 15 goals in a season once, in 2018/19. Treat these rates carefully. At 800 minutes — roughly 9 full matches — Gallego is 100 short of our 900-minute qualifying floor, so he does not appear on the ranking boards: on a sample this size two good afternoons move a per-90 number further than a month of steady form.

How these scores are built, and the minutes and rating floors a player must clear to appear on our boards, are set out in our methodology.
