A. Hakimi

Hakimi's 2026/27 season, read from the numbers

In 2026/27, A. Hakimi was used in rotation for Paris Saint Germain in the Ligue 1: 4 appearances and 309 minutes, averaging 77 minutes per outing. The number that flatters him most is match rating — 406th of 905 defenders and inside the top 45%.

Per 90 minutes that is 0.9 tackles per 90, 0.9 interceptions per 90 and 47% of his duels won — the rate profile behind Hakimi's totals. The profile is lopsided rather than complete: measured against defenders, Hakimi sits in the top 11% for chance creation but only the top 58% for tackling volume.

Set against Hakimi's own record, 2026/27 reads differently: he is playing far less than he once did — 1350 minutes against 2715 at his peak. Our records cover 10 seasons of Hakimi's career, 2017/18 to 2026/27, across 5 clubs — Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Inter, Paris Saint Germain and others. In that time he has played 358 matches across 15 competitions, 28,229 minutes in all.

His best season on our records was 2024/25, when he averaged 7.67 across 52 appearances. Hakimi has 78 appearances in UEFA Champions League on our records, and he is modestly more productive domestically - 0.17 per 90 domestically against 0.14 in Europe.

Away from his club, Hakimi has 51 appearances for Morocco on our records, scoring 7 — across World Cup, World Cup - Qualification Africa and Africa Cup of Nations. Treat these rates carefully. At 309 minutes — roughly 3 full matches — Hakimi is 591 short of our 900-minute qualifying floor, so he does not appear on the ranking boards: on a sample this size two good afternoons move a per-90 number further than a month of steady form.

How these scores are built, and the minutes and rating floors a player must clear to appear on our boards, are set out in our methodology.
