A. Davies

Davies's 2025/26 season, read from the numbers

In 2025/26, A. Davies was used in rotation for Bayern München in the Bundesliga: 13 appearances and 534 minutes, averaging 41 minutes per outing. Per 90 minutes that is 1.5 tackles per 90, 0.5 interceptions per 90 and 51% of his duels won — the rate profile behind Davies's totals.

Davies played 360 passes at 93% accuracy — 60.7 per 90, which is the volume that decides whether a side builds through him or around him. Carrying the ball, Davies attempted 26 dribbles and completed 50% — 4.4 attempts per 90.

Set against Davies's own record, 2025/26 reads differently: he is playing far less than he once did — 534 minutes against 2233 at his peak; his average match rating has slipped from 7.18 to 6.84 since 2024/25. Our records cover 9 seasons of Davies's career, 2018/19 to 2026/27, across 4 clubs — Vancouver Whitecaps, Bayern München, Canada, MLS All-Stars. In that time he has played 308 matches across 13 competitions, 21,732 minutes in all.

His best season on our records was 2026/27, when he averaged 7.60 across 7 appearances. Davies has 58 appearances in UEFA Champions League on our records, and he is modestly more productive in Europe - 0.07 per 90 domestically against 0.09 in Europe.

Away from his club, Davies has 27 appearances for Canada on our records, scoring 6 — across CONCACAF Gold Cup, World Cup and World Cup - Qualification CONCACAF. Treat these rates carefully. At 534 minutes — roughly 6 full matches — Davies is 366 short of our 900-minute qualifying floor, so he does not appear on the ranking boards: on a sample this size two good afternoons move a per-90 number further than a month of steady form.

How these scores are built, and the minutes and rating floors a player must clear to appear on our boards, are set out in our methodology.
