Android App Terms of Use

These Terms apply to the TackleZone Android application distributed through Google Play. The website terms cover tacklezone.app separately.

By installing or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, uninstall the app. Your use of the app is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.

TackleZone shows football fixtures, live scores, standings, line-ups, player statistics, rankings, comparisons and AI-generated verdicts. It is provided free of charge, for information and entertainment.

It requires no account. Your favourites are stored on your own device, which means they do not follow you to a new phone and are lost if you uninstall the app.

It is not a betting or gambling service, and it does not accept or place wagers. It offers no odds, tips or predictions presented as advice.

Nothing in the app is financial advice. If you choose to rely on a statistic, a ranking or an AI verdict for any decision involving money, you do so entirely at your own risk.

Football data comes from third-party providers, principally API-Football / API-Sports. Live scores can be delayed, incomplete, corrected retroactively or simply wrong. Statistics are sometimes revised days after a match. We do not guarantee that anything you see is accurate, current or complete, and we are not the official source for any competition.

The app may be unavailable, slow or partly broken at any time — because of our own maintenance, a data provider outage, or your connection. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and features may be added, changed or removed without notice.

The app includes our own composite ratings and rankings, derived from third-party statistics using weightings we choose and publish in the app. They are our opinion expressed as a number, not an objective measure of a player's ability, and they are not endorsed by any club, league or player.

Settle It generates written verdicts using a third-party language model (OpenAI), grounded in statistics the app supplies. Despite that grounding, AI output can be mistaken, incomplete or misleading. Treat a verdict as an argument, not a fact.

Do not type personal or sensitive information into Settle It. Questions are sent to our servers and to OpenAI, and popular questions are cached so they need answering only once. Do not use the feature to generate unlawful, defamatory or abusive content about any person.

Feedback is optional. By sending it, you grant us permission to read it, act on it, and use any suggestion it contains to improve the app, without obligation or payment to you. Do not send confidential information or anything you do not have the right to share.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, bulk-extract or redistribute data obtained through the app, or use it to build a competing dataset or service.
• Reverse engineer, decompile or modify the app, or attempt to extract credentials or API keys from it.
• Interfere with our servers, circumvent rate limits, or make automated requests through the app's endpoints.
• Use the app for anything unlawful, or in breach of a third party's rights.

The app, its design, its wording and our composite ratings belong to TackleZone Studios. Club names, crests, competition names and player likenesses belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only. We claim no affiliation with, or endorsement by, any club, league or governing body.

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, accuracy and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TackleZone Studios is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your reliance on data, ratings or AI verdicts shown in the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the app shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in your place of residence or our principal place of business, unless applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise.

We may revise these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
